Newsletter June 2022
Date Published: 11 October 2022Hello June!
We’re saying a big warm welcome to one of our busiest months ever! Now that face-to-face training is back in full swing, our super hero team of pharmacists are back to back with training in classrooms and we are LOVING IT!
We attended the Residential and Home Care Show at the ExCel centre in May, where we met some incredible people showcasing their talents in the care world and listened to some great talks, from people within the industry.
We are very excited to show off our new “Dementia Friend” badge and our “Mindful Employer” status too. You can check out our socials for more details on that!
Please get in touch today to see how, when and where
we can help you!
AIT is with you every step of the way
Movements we’re supporting this month
This month brings us many different awareness days, and it is always hard to focus on just one of the many important topics – this month we will supporting and raising awareness for those with learning difficulties.
Learning Disability Week 20th-26th June
We endeavour to make everyone feel equal when they are learning with us. We have plenty of tools in our toolbox to help us accommodate those who may need a little extra assistance. We can cater for students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, hearing and sight difficulties to name but a few.
We are also always learning how we, as a training company, can do more to help those with learning disabilities feel included, equal and supported. So if there is anything more that can be done to achieve this , then we are all ears! Drop us an email with your suggestions – we’d love to learn more about how we can improve.
Carer’s Week
Carers Week is an annual campaign to help raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges that unpaid
carers face and to recognise the contribution they make to families and communities, throughout the UK.
It also helps to identify the carers without “carer” status, to access funding and much needed help and support that they may not have known they were entitled to.
So, during Carer’s Week, we are coming together to make carers Visible, Valued and Supported.
